Midi Files

Through my searches for decent background music for my site, I've come across a whole bunch from countless sites. I don't intend for this to be a significant midi site, there are some great ones out there, and I've put a couple of links at the bottom of this page for you, but here are some of the ones I've collected and you're welcome to grab them.

Wait!  Stop everything and listen to this.  I stumbled across something a while back that blew me away.  There is a shareware product called WinGroove (click here to go download it) that does something amazing to midi files based on your processor and other things.  You MUST try this out to see if it makes a big enough difference on your computer for midi files.  I used to have a really slow computer, pentium 75mhz, and this software only ran at about 39percent of what WinGroove can do but it still made such a difference in the sound that I couldn't believe it!!!  And now with an actually GOOD computer, it's incredible.

Okay, okay, there's lots of these here now.  I am breaking them into categories to make it easier to maneuver and faster to load.  They're alphabetical by song.  You know how you know the song but can't think who it is?  If you see something wrong or can fill in the artist for me, please tell me so I can fix it.  And hopefully I spelled every tiny thing right in my links to these new files but if you hit one that's wrong, let me know.  Thanks!

Rock, Pop (radio ones)

Themes from movies and TV

Classical, Opera

Others (I couldn't figure out what to call them)

Wow, I was just checking my links and I find that most of my midi site links have been shut down....doesn't that suck?  Until I find some new ones, here's a great one that has nearly everything!
