In searching for various things to use in Bernie's or Paulo's or this site, I have occasionally come across some pretty interesting or unusual sites. Oh, and if you also have some cool places you think I should add here (like your own maybe?), send me a note and I'll try to do it.
3D Greetings - A friend, Antonio, from Portugal sent me a card from here and its a really cool place, there are cards for every occasion and they're different from ones you have probably seen.
Better Homes and Gardens - a classic...just didn't know quite where to put it.
Bored.com - Ha!!! This site has links to some fun things. You can send an Internet April Fool's Joke, find out what your phone number spells, read the Darwin Awards stories, see if someone you know is a fugitive, find out the date of your death, and much more.
Virtual Theater - interesting information on science, space, and...well, lots of other unusual information.
Silver Streak Inc. - now this is something I ordinarily would not put on my site. But I was desperately looking for just the right belt buckle to give someone as a gift and the ones I saw here, though it IS Austin, just were so expensive and the quality wasn't what it should have been...so I searched Internet and came across this site. I thought by the price that it would be a piece of junk but I was astounded by the quality of what I received, a VERY nice buckle, hand finished, heavy, great quality and just the perfect thing. And I got it in like 4 days after I ordered it, AND I got a personal email telling me about the order, from a real person, not automated. Very cool, so if you're looking for something unusual and don't trust what you'll get, go here, I will next time for sure!
